Wow, what a gem. Friendly family owned restaurant that really believes in making your dinning experience top notch. Shrimp cocktail was excellent, so many shrimp I thought it would never end, of course I had to eat all of them. The relleno was the best I've had in a long time. The fish taco was good but I let it sit for half an hour so it would have been better had I eaten it first.
You and your belly will leave here filled and happy. Oh the salsa and chips? To die for.
Thank you Los Arcos.
See you tomorrow. -

The restaurant is clean quaint and the staff is friendly. I ordered the chicken mole which the menu states consists of 1 breast and 1 drumstick in mole sauce served with rice and beans. I cut into the chicken to find 2 thighs, promptly informed my server (which I think was also the owner but I can't say for a fact) and he proceeded to let me know they use dark meat for this plate. I informed him the menu stated otherwise, at this time he replaced my 2 thighs with 1 chicken breast I think, it was in 3 pieces no bone, and 0 drumstic.
I hadn't eaten all day so I just ate what was on my plate tipped the minimum and left. However, the brown mole sauce tasted like they skimped on the ingridients, the chicken was tasteless without the sauce like they had just poured sauce over boiled chicken. The salsa served with "chips and salsa" was inedible, I had one bite and that was enough - salsa is supposed to be spicy not sweet, the rice and beans were nothing to write home about barely palatable, the best part of the meal where the corn tortillas.
I'm very sad to write this review but failure to plate the dish as described on the menu is a huge fail on any food establishment especially if the food is already marginal at best. If they didn't have the ingredients that were on the menu they should have said something and I would have order a different dish. I was too hungry to look for another place otherwise I would have walked out. -

My family and I ate here tonight. I am sorry to say we'll NEVER eat here again. Their food safety judgement is just awful and they shouldn't be allowed to operate without county supervision. Here's why:
We ordered the table side guacamole. It looked amazing in the yelp photos. When our server came to make it table side, the inside of the avos were LITERALLY black. I was in disbelief. What made it worse was that the server tried to hide how bad they were by trying to amuse my 2 year old with a lot of mixing and mashing and theatrics.
When he's finished, we get the guacamole and it literally smells rancid and rotten. Like spoiled milk. For those of you who have smelled bad avocados, you know exactly what I mean. It was foul. We obviously didn't eat it and told the server it didn't smell right. The crazy part is that he acknowledge immediately that it didn't look right and took it away and apologized without much explanation.
20 min later we see a different server walk in with a bag of fresh avos. We had already decided to move on and wrap up the dinner earlier but our server returns and offers to make a new bowl and not charge us (they still charged us). He was so insistent on making us a new bowl we just let him do it. The avos looked good and normal so we let it go and tried to finish the dinner without further incident.
Our main entrees were fine (not great but ok) but the part that really seals the deal for me was this: as we were paying the bill, the cashier/second server tells us that he's sorry for the first bowl of guacamole and that everyone in the kitchen said NOT to serve the rancid avocados. He said there was a debate in the kitchen and despite everyone else saying not to use those avocados, the server wanted to "try it anyway".
This is pure negligence to basic food safety. This is exactly how people get violently sick. Can't imagine what would happen if my 2 year old ate it. We could easily be in the hospital with food poisoning or far worse. It's almost criminal. We've run family businesses ourselves and hate to leave negative feedback on a family business - but the reality is that these folks should absolutely not be allowed to endanger diners they way they tried to poison us. In short, don't eat here. Ever. -

I had a Carne Asada burrito today that was hands down one of the best that I have ever had. I plan on returning with my family to eat more items off of the menu. I was looking at the menu while I was waiting for my to go order and they have quite the selection. And they were telling me about taco Tuesday so I cannot wait for that either. Will post more on my next trip.
